WHITE NOISE I

White Noise I explores stillness, light and the subtle presence of what exists beneath the surface.

Constructed almost entirely in texture the work is defined by a highly tactile three-dimensional surface, creating an immersive field of shifting texture and shadow. Faint traces of grey move quietly through the composition, softened and partially faded into the white.

At the centre, a singular point of gold interrupts the monochromatic field small yet visually significant. It becomes a moment of warmth and luminosity within an otherwise restrained landscape.

The work invites close observation. As light moves across the raised texture, new variations in depth, shadow and texture emerge, transforming the surface throughout the day.

White Noise I considers the relationship between stillness and presence where even the quietest element can hold significance.
