Sauvage Roar explores instinct, power and presence through the sculptural form of the male tiger.

Constructed using Vigour Noir’s signature Canvas-on-Canvas technique, the three-dimensional tiger emerges from the surface in sculptured canvas, giving the figure substantial physical depth. Its form is rendered through a powerful interplay of black and gold, creating dimension through texture, shadow and metallic illumination.

The black and gold ground extends the visual language of the figure, surrounding the tiger within an atmosphere of intensity and strength. Gold catches across the raised sculptural surface, accentuating the contours and giving the composition a sense of movement and depth.
