Gilded Ascent

GILDED ASCENT

An exploration of elevation, movement and transformation.

Gilded Ascent examines the visual and emotional movement from darkness toward illumination. Raised material structures create a sense of upward progression, interrupted and illuminated by gold.

The work considers transformation as a gradual process—formed through accumulation, pressure and the emergence of light.
