AUREUM CORE

Aureum Core is an exploration of intensity, depth and radiance expressed entirely through gold.

Constructed using Vigour Noir’s signature Canvas-on-Canvas technique, the work builds dimensionality through layered canvas and sculptural surface, creating an almost tactile field of gold upon gold.

Rather than relying on contrast, the composition draws its presence from saturation, repetition and the shifting interaction of light across the surface.

There is a duality within its intensity: powerful yet serene, commanding yet contemplative. The monochromatic gold palette allows the material itself to become the subject, revealing subtle changes in texture, shadow and luminosity as the viewer moves around the work.

Aureum Core represents the idea of an inner force that does not need darkness to define it. Its intensity exists entirely within the light.
